Terms of Use for the English Book Reader Website

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to https://www.englishbookreader.com (the “Website”), including its informational pages, Blog, free PDF Library, downloads, book contributions and copyright reports. The Website is provided by NgheRo.Vn (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Cao Vu Hung as an individual household business (Household Business Registration No. 41L8042932, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam).

By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

The English Book Reader AI & Learn mobile app has separate App Terms of Use. App purchases, subscriptions, AI analysis and app access limits are governed by those terms and the relevant store terms. You do not need to install or purchase the app to use the Website Library.

Website Features and Access

The Website provides app information, articles, screenshots, voice previews, video demonstrations, support links and a Library of English PDF books. Library features include search, filters, sorting, book details, source and license information, ebook downloads in the formats shown on each book page, PDF viewing, series or collections where available, and read/unread marks saved in your browser.

Browsing and available Library downloads do not require an account or payment. Browser reading marks do not create an account or sync progress with the mobile app. Clearing browser storage removes them.

Books, features and download availability may change. We may correct metadata, update pages, restrict access or remove material for rights, safety, technical or operational reasons. We do not guarantee permanent hosting of a particular book. Website changes do not revoke permissions already granted by a book’s valid open license.

Reader Guidance and 18+ Access

Audience groups, illustration labels and school-grade guidance describe different aspects of a book. An Adults audience label alone does not mean a book is restricted to ages 18 and over. Books explicitly marked 18+ require you to confirm that you are at least 18 before opening or downloading through this Website. If you are under 18 or do not wish to confirm, return to the Library and choose another book. Do not bypass this access control.

Our 18+ labels are editorial access guidance for this Website, not official legal age classifications or identity verification. Labels may be corrected after review. A confirmation is remembered for the selected book for up to four hours using an essential cookie. A direct download link does not remove the confirmation requirement. Once a file is downloaded, we cannot control access to copies outside this Website.

Library Books and Reuse Rights

Each book retains its own copyright status, attribution, license and reuse conditions. Read the book page and notices within the downloaded book before reusing it. A free download does not by itself grant permission to republish, modify or sell a work. Public-domain status depends on the country and exact edition; a public-domain original does not automatically clear a later adaptation, translation or illustrations.

Where a book is offered under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, that license permits sharing and adaptation, including commercial use, subject to its conditions. These include appropriate attribution, a license link and identification of changes. Do not imply endorsement or impose additional restrictions prohibited by the license. Other books may have different conditions, and privacy, publicity or other rights may still apply.

These Website Terms do not replace, narrow or revoke rights granted by a book’s own license, public-domain status or applicable legal exceptions. Credits and source links do not imply a partnership or endorsement by authors, illustrators, publishers or source websites.

Contributing a Book

You must be at least 18 to submit a book. Submit only English PDFs that you own or have permission to distribute, or exact editions that are public domain or covered by a suitable open license. Your authority must cover the text, illustrations and all other included material. Being able to download a file elsewhere for free is not evidence of permission to republish it.

Provide accurate book details, author and illustrator credits, source links, edition information, rights basis, applicable territories and reuse conditions. Do not submit private personal information, malicious files, deceptive evidence or content you are not authorized to share. Follow the form’s displayed format and size limits.

You retain any rights you own. By submitting, you authorize us to receive, store and review the file and supporting information and, if approved, host, display and distribute the book under the rights terms you provide. This permission does not transfer ownership, cover rights you do not hold or override third-party license conditions.

Submissions wait for review before publication. We may ask for evidence, decline a submission, correct its presentation or withdraw material. Approval is not a guarantee that every rights claim or detail is correct. Your chosen public contributor name may appear with an approved book; private contact details and evidence are handled under the Website Privacy Policy.

You may contact us about a correction or removal using your submission reference. Removing a listing does not retrieve copies already downloaded or revoke valid open-license rights. We may refuse further submissions from contributors responsible for repeated infringement or abuse. Books prepared by us are identified by their actual source and are not represented as user contributions.

Copyright Concerns and Corrections

Copyright owners or authorized representatives can use the copyright report form or email [email protected]. Identify the protected work and affected Website URLs, explain the grounds for your request and provide your name and contact information.

For a formal notice, include your signature, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized and a statement that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized representative, under penalty of perjury where applicable. Submit accurate reports; do not knowingly make false claims or impersonate a rights holder.

We review reports and may disable access while investigating. A report does not automatically establish infringement or cause automatic removal. If you believe material was removed by mistake, email us with the reference, identification of the material and supporting evidence. Formal counter-notices may require further identity, signature, jurisdiction and legal declarations under applicable law.

We consider available evidence, valid notices and counter-notices, court proceedings and applicable legal requirements when deciding whether to restrict or restore access. Relevant information may be shared with affected parties as explained in the Privacy Policy. Providing contribution or reporting forms does not exempt the Website operator from legal obligations.

• upload malicious files, fabricated rights evidence or deceptive reports;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
• bypass access controls, submission limits or moderation restrictions;

• attempt unauthorized access to private submissions, reports or administrative systems;
• use the Website for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes.

These rules do not restrict copying, adaptation or distribution permitted by a book’s own license or applicable law.

Website Materials and External Services

Our Website design, branding and original editorial materials belong to us or our licensors, subject to any stated licenses and applicable legal exceptions. Library books and third-party materials retain their separate rights. No ownership in those works transfers merely because we host them.

Links to book sources, license information, app stores and other services are provided for convenience. External services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, content or decisions.

Educational Information and Availability

Articles, book summaries, reading levels and learning suggestions are provided for general educational use. Levels may come from the source publisher and should not be treated as formal proficiency assessments unless expressly identified as such. We do not guarantee accuracy, suitability or any learning outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, the Website and downloads are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free metadata, compatibility with every device or that every file is free from defects. Take reasonable care when opening downloaded files and keep any copies you need.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Website, including lost data or interrupted access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct or any responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Privacy

The Website Privacy Policy explains browser reading marks, cookies, analytics, submissions, copyright reports, security records and support enquiries. It is separate from the mobile app’s privacy policy.

Restrictions, Changes and Governing Law

You may stop using the Website at any time. We may restrict access or submissions when reasonably necessary to address abuse, infringement, security issues or legal obligations. Restrictions do not revoke rights already granted under an applicable book license.

We may update the Website and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above, with additional notice where required. Continued use after changes take effect is subject to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory protections and rights to bring claims in your location where applicable.
