Miss Bandicota Bengalensis was no ordinary Indian mole rat. She was quite the adventurer. Every evening, she set out with her explorer's kit – sunglasses, binoculars, magnifying glass and a strip of sticker bandages. 'An explorer is always prepared,' she said. Through the night, she dug in a new direction, to a new sea, up a new hill, into old caves... Now, join Miss Bandicota and her new friend in exploring one of the most famous forests of India.
The story follows a hated tiger for his attitude which he enjoys, until he realises everyone does not like him. The story teaches us to be kind to others.
When a tiger moves through the forest, all the animals and birds know! Listen to the different alarm calls that warn everyone in the forest that the tiger is here.

Suggested age, readers, English difficulty and US school grade are separate labels. Age groups are guidance based on source information or editorial review; unreviewed books are “Not assessed”. A US grade is assigned only with source information or a documented assessment; otherwise it is “Not assessed”. Levels use A1–C2 to indicate reading difficulty. StoryWeaver levels 1/2/3/4 use our approximate A1/A2/B1/B2 guide, labelled “estimated”; this is not an official equivalence. A book-specific assessment takes priority. Other unassessed books are labelled “Not assessed”. Source StoryWeaver levels are retained separately. Classics retain their original English.
