Footprints in the Snow

About this book

In the centre of this story is a girl named Sally. When she was fourteen, she lived in New Zealand with her parents, brother and their old grandmother. The grandmother sometimes told strange stories. And she loved talking about her husband, who had already died. She was sure that her husband was still with them. Of course, Sally didn't believe these stories. But the old woman said that she had seen their grandfather's footprints in the snow. He had very large feet and his footprints were big. One morning Sally came to the kitchen. There was chaos. The fridge and the window were open. The things were on the floor. Sally was frightened. But she did not know that it was only the beginning of some strange events.
