It was midnight and it was very hot in the reception of the clinic. The air conditioner worked, but it did not help much. The door often opened and another portion of hot air from the street got inside. Dr. Maxine Cassidy was still at work. Her white uniform was wet with sweat. After eight hours on her feet, she felt exhausted. There were still six hours until the end of the shift. Only after that Maxine will have time for rest. Suddenly, a woman entered the clinic. She looked very sick as if she was about to fall. The doctor rushed to this woman. The stranger was wearing a red wig and holding a large black shoulder bag. The doctor and the nurse carried a new patient onto the examination table. Suddenly, Maxine saw that it was the wife of one of the most famous and wealthy doctors in the city.
