About this book
Many people know the legend of Tristan and Isolde. This is not just a love story, but a story of the mockery of fate and the sadness of human hearts. Tristan was born a prince, but as a child he became an orphan. His uncle King Mark of Cornwall adopted and raised him. In defense of his homeland and king, Tristan fought an Irish giant. He also went in search of a fair-haired girl who was to become the king's wife. This girl was Princess Isolde. Isolde knew how to heal and saved Tristan. They were on their way to the king when something unexpected happened. The young people drank a love potion by mistake. This potion was intended for the king and his young wife. It was a real mockery of fate. What is stronger? Duty or elixir?
