About this book

What do you think when you talk about the island of Hawaii? A lot of people would say only about beautiful beaches and clear sea, but Hawaii is also a place with a unique and very interesting mythology. There are many interesting legends about it. One of the oldest legends of this beautiful place tells about the dance called Hula. Everything started when two friends Hi 'iaki and Hopoe went to the beach. Seeing the waves, they began to imitate their soft movements. And Hi 'iaki and Hopoe themselves turned into waves during the dance. That's when the history of the great dance from the island of Hawaii began. Today, this dance can be often found. It is very popular and many people love it very much.
